Professional Bio
Misty Portillo, born and raised in Odessa, Texas, has built a long-standing and passionate career in the multifamily housing industry. She began her journey in 1998, stepping into the apartment industry fresh out of high school, and has never looked back.
Currently based in Midland, Texas, Misty joined BH Management in September 2023. Since then, she has brought her expertise to both the multifamily and Build-to-Rent (BTR) sectors within the company. She currently manages two communities — The Oasis at Pavilion Apartments in and Brady Station-overseeing a combined total of 628 units.
With over two decades of hands-on experience, Misty is known for her dedication to creating communities that residents are proud to call home. She joined the Permian Basin Apartment Association (PBAA) in 2024 and remains committed to supporting the continued growth and professionalism of the industry.
Outside of her professional role, When she's not at work, Misty enjoys reading and spending time with her family, especially her teenage child who keeps her on her toes.
