Jacee Cortez

Born and raised in the oil field land of Odessa, Texas, I began my career in the summer of 2019 as a Leasing Consultant with BH Management, where I worked for three years. I was then promoted to the corporate side as part of the Screening/Fraud Department. In 2023, I was offered a Property Manager position back on-site with BH Management and also joined PBAA as a board member. In September 2024, I accepted a position as Property Manager at The Penwell with Asset Living, where I am still proudly serving today. I was also given the privilege to chair the PBAA Awards Committee.
I genuinely take pride and joy in what I do every day and have developed a true love for this industry. Property management offers endless opportunities for growth and learning. If you had asked me 10 years ago, “Where do you see yourself?”—my answer would have been nowhere near this field. But I am truly grateful for the path I’ve been given, because I absolutely love what I do!
